Mayo Word

The Mayo Word notebook · Free to use

Explore a letter wheel without spending guesses blindly

A free decision log for a focused practice session, based on the game’s documented mechanics.

Keep candidate words tied to available tiles

Mayo Word asks the player to use each letter tile once within a word and fill the chapter targets. Before submitting a candidate, compare its letters with the actual wheel, including repeated letters. A word that looks plausible may need a tile the wheel does not contain. This worksheet accepts your notes as text; it is not the game dictionary and does not decide whether a guess will be accepted.

Separate a fresh view from a hint

The documented shuffle offers another arrangement, while a hint reveals a target and wrong guesses use an attempt. Record the remaining attempts and why you would shuffle or spend a hint. Keep accepted bonus words distinct from required targets. A practice note can help explain your search process without pretending to solve an unseen wheel or guarantee a chapter result.

Compare one decision in the build you actually use

Record the version, stage, controls, and relevant kit or resource state before comparing attempts. Change one decision when possible and write the actual response separately from your prediction. A useful practice note explains what you learned and what is still unclear. Public release availability and platform support remain as stated on the homepage; this worksheet does not launch the game, connect an account, read cloud saves, or submit a score.

Worked example

A small situation to try

Illustrative exercise: With an imaginary wheel containing two copies of one letter, a player checks that a candidate uses neither copy twice. They list a second candidate, shuffle for a different view, and record which word the actual game accepts. The worksheet stores the reasoning only and supplies no dictionary or invented target answer.
